When water is spreading across a tile floor at 2 a.m. or smoke has worked its way into every closet in the house, the person who shows up matters more than the logo on the truck. Our Fort Lauderdale crew is small on purpose. Every technician who walks through your door is background-checked, uniformed, and has spent years working South Florida homes, not reading about them in a manual. We know what hurricane-season humidity does to drywall. We know which neighborhoods flood first after a hard rain. And we know that a written price before work starts is the only honest way to do this job. Carl Brandt, Owner, has kept it that way since 2005.
Restoration work we handle

Our People
Mike R. – Lead Water Damage Technician
Mike has been pulling water out of Fort Lauderdale homes for 17 years, and he can read a moisture map the way some people read a weather report. He is IICRC-certified in water damage restoration and runs our Dri-Eaz and Phoenix drying setups on every major job. If you hear someone explaining psychrometric drying, that is Mike, and he will always follow it with the plain-English version: we measure the RH, relative humidity, then we control the airflow and temperature until your walls actually reach the number they are supposed to be. He keeps a moisture meter in his truck that is older than his kids. He would rather replace a baseboard right the first time than come back and do it again.
Denise T. – Service Coordinator
Denise is the voice you hear when you call (754) 354-1250 at 3 p.m. or 3 a.m. She has coordinated restoration jobs across Broward County for over a decade and knows exactly how long it takes a crew to get from our shop to Coral Ridge, Victoria Park, or out toward Plantation. She builds the schedule around real drive times, not optimistic guesses. Denise also makes sure the written price gets to you before any equipment rolls, because she used to work for a company that said one number on the phone and a different number at the door. She thought that was a lousy way to run a business, and so did Carl. They built Dryden differently.
Anthony S. – Lead Mold Remediation Technician
Anthony handles the jobs where the problem has been hiding: behind a toilet, inside a wall cavity, under a sink the homeowner has not opened in a year. He is certified in mold remediation and applied microbial remediation, and he follows RIA and IICRC containment protocols on every job. He will be the first to tell you that Fort Lauderdale’s humidity means mold does not politely wait for you to notice it. Anthony sets up negative air pressure containment, removes affected material in sealed bags, and documents everything with photos for your insurance adjuster. He also has a habit of drawing a diagram on a notepad so you can see exactly what he found and where. He keeps that notepad in his uniform pocket, right next to a pen that actually works.
Luis C. – Equipment Specialist & Field Apprentice
Luis is the one who knows where every Dri-Eaz dehumidifier, XPOWER air mover, B-Air fan, and Injectidry mat lives in our warehouse, and whether it was serviced last week or six months ago. He has been with Dryden for three years, moving from shop cleanup to running equipment logistics, and he now trains under Mike on water extraction jobs. Luis grew up in Fort Lauderdale and still gets annoyed when tourists say the city has no seasons. He will tell you about wet season while he carries an air mover through your hallway, which is helpful information when you are deciding whether to file a claim now or wait until next month. He shows up in uniform, on time, and he does not track mud through the house.
One Standard, Every Job
The Kingswell Way is not a poster on the wall at our shop. It is five things we do on every single job, whether it is a two-hour water extraction in a condo off Las Olas or a full fire restoration in Middle River Terrace. We say the price before the work. We show up in the window we gave. We leave the place cleaner than we found it. We put the guarantee in writing, and if a covered repair fails inside of a full year, we come back and fix it at no charge. That is the 365-Day Done Right Promise, and it applies to every technician who works under this roof. When you call Dryden Restoration Fort Lauderdale, you get a live person, a straight answer, and a crew that treats your house like it is the only job on the schedule. Because that is exactly how Carl runs it.
